| Funny things happen in and around the office. Because of this, we present to you our "Giggle of The Day" |
| August 8, 2006 Marnie called Deena at home to ask her if she would mind opening the office. She explained that she had opened her dishwasher that morning to find it crawling with ants, and that she had to be home when the exterminator was scheduled to be there. Marnie: "It was so disgusting! I screamed and slammed the door shut. Then I set the dishwasher to run on the super hot cycle. Addie saw what I was doing and asked me what would happen if the ants just got baked onto the dishes." So, Deena made a quick stop by the Dollar Tree to pick up some plastic bugs and a plate. The plate was perfect! It was covered in words like: Taste, Dine, Enjoy, Relax, Mmmm..., Entertain, Food, etc. A few minutes with the plastic bugs and a glue gun, and the "gift" was ready. Marnie walked into the office after Deena had already opened. Deena: "Your exterminator stopped by with a plate that he said was from your dishwasher." Marnie: "What? He what? Deena: "He stopped by with a plate that he said he accidentally took from your dishwasher. I don't know. He left it on your chair." Marnie: "What? He stopped by? But I just saw him. How would he... Are you lying to me?" Deena: "Why would I lie to you?" Marnie walked back into her private office.... Marnie: "Aaaah! Heehee! You are such a bad liar! Ha-ha! This is so funny! I can't wait to show Addie!" Giggles galore.... Later - Leah, the Tuesday preceptor, knew Marnie's MySpace password. While the good doctor was in with a patient, Leah and Deena set about changing all of her personal information to ant related material. For example, her favorite music is by "Adam and the Ants". Her hero is "Atom Ant". Her favorite book is "One Hundred Hungry Ants". Her favorite movies are "Antz", "Bugs Life", and "Ant Bully". |
